2024年粵港澳大灣區(qū)（中山）龍舟邀請賽暨中山市龍舟文化月活動在5月至6月期間舉辦。6月8日至6月9日，岐江河畔相繼迎來多場龍舟活動。
住在岐江邊的新西蘭音樂人當勞 ?卡普爾受中國端午節(jié)氣氛的感染，寫了一首名為《喚岐江神龍》的音樂，他邀請大家歡聚岐江，一起來呼喚“神龍”。
Calling The Qijiang Dragon
The 2024 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Zhongshan) Dragon Boat Invitational Tournament and Zhongshan Dragon Boat Culture Month lasts from May to June.From 8 June to 9 June, exciting competitions will be held near the Qijiang River. Inspired by the Dragon Boat Festival, Donald Kepple, a musician from New Zealand, made a piece of music called “Calling the Qijiang Dragon”. It represents his feeling of the river and the spirit of dragon boat race.??
Donald?has?lived?in?Zhongshan?for?13?years.??The?longer?he?lives?here,?the?more?involved?he?becomes?in?the?annual?cycles?and?events.In?2021?he?even?had?the?great?opportunity?to?row?with?local?dragon?boat?team,?as?part?of?the?short?video?serial?My?Zhongshan.?
